RhinoStop is a range of guardrail crash barriers designed in Australia for car parks, warehouses and industrial sites. Each RhinoStop system is designed to absorb the kinetic energy of a vehicle impact, reducing peak forces and limiting damage to the anchor bolts and structure.

RhinoStop systems are an all-steel construction and a modular design facilitating rapid installation. RhinoStop has become the industry-preferred crash barrier system for multi-storey car parks, manufacturing facilities and logistics warehouses.

Each RhinoStop post features a patented, yielding baseplate designed to absorb vehicle impact energy. A series of cuts into the baseplate allows the baseplate to deform, reducing peak loads. As the baseplates deform, the system deflects and distributes forces to adjacent posts. This yielding behaviour reduces loads on the anchors, minimising the potential for damage to the concrete substrate. Each RhinoStop configuration is full-scale crash tested to evaluate the capacity of the system and compliance with Australian Standards.

Providing a modular design ensures the system can be assembled using off-the-shelf components. This reduces lead times and facilitates rapid installation. The RhinoStop team will assist in calculating the amount of materials required for your project to ensure the installed barrier represents the crash-tested configurations. The all-metal construction is galvanised, providing a durable finish. Items may be powder coated to enhance aesthetics or highlight the safe passage of travel for pedestrians or motorists.
